Approximately $6 million
Unique features/specific challenges
Due to heritage restrictions the new complex had to be built within the parameters of the existing façade. Meticulous attention to demolition was required and underpinning of the perimeter façade to accommodate the new basement level. Further to this another level had to be accommodated within the existing envelope to achieve the fire resistant-level requirements, achieved by way of a precast option, which allowed the club to re-opening early.
